I have a few pieces in The Samurai Reimagined exhibit at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena, CA that runs into August. Yesterday, I did a presentation to a pretty full room. Basically, my presentations cover who I am, what I do, and how I do it. I also take questions from the audience. I especially like to do these at venues other than comic conventions to broaden the awareness of comics, and Usagi in particular. After the chalk talk, the museum surprised me with a 25th anniversary Usagi cake. They got it from the Phoenix Bakery in China Town. It was chocolate, and it was delicious. The talk took about an hour, followed by a signing. One of the people I signed books for works at a movie prop house, and gave me a ninja sword that was used in Tom Cruise's The Last Samurai. Sure, it's made of hard rubber, but, still, it's pretty cool.
